Tricia, Age 8 I live in Bataan with my mother, father and two big sisters. Where I live, we speak Tagalog, and I am also learning English. Our house is surrounded by plants - especially bonsai plants - which my dad plants and nurtures! I wish to fill our entire country with parks, gardens and houses for all the people. When I grow up, I'd like to become a teacher, a visual artist, or maybe a singer. I love singing ballads, playing the organ, and playing badminton. My favorite month is December. We build a tent in our back yard and have a barbeque on Christmas Eve. My country has abundant natural resources and gifted people. I think the most interesting person from my country is President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. I see her on the television dealing with a lot of concerns and attending celebrations and programs. |
