Shi, Age 9 One of the most beautiful places in Kunming is the public garden that surrounds my family's living block, where I live with my mother, father, and two grandmothers. I like this garden because it has various trees and flowers, which bloom throughout all four seasons. During my free time, I enjoy climbing mountains, running, swimming, and collecting butterflies. If I could travel to one other country, I would go to Australia because I want to see kangaroos and koala bears. My favorite holiday is Children's Festival, which is held every year on June first. I enjoy this festival because children get to go to the park with their father and mother and learn about the Chinese culture. During the festival, there are many activities and performances by China's most-talented youth. |
