Colgate-Palmolive (Nepal) Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has discontinued production of toothpaste at its facility at Hetauda, Nepal with immediate effect since its toothpaste export business became commercially unviable. However, the Nepal facility will continue to product toothpowder. Discontinuation of toothpaste production at Nepal will not impact the Company's business in view of existing alternate sources of production in India including the Baddi facility which commenced commercial production on April 21, 2005.
