Our Children (OC) is a NGO in Mumbai that works with underprivileged children - mainly those residing in child welfare institutions. It strives to provide opportunities to as many children as possible living in and around Mumbai. Their philosophy is that it is not enough to provide just the basic necessities to a child, it is important to provide education, skills and guiding them to a successful future. Our Children organizes 'Children's Meet' every year. This year they organized the meet on 1 May 2015 at Shanmukhananda Hall in Mumbai where about 2000 children participated.
Colgate India has been supporting 'Our Children' by providing dental health packs for the children helping them to inculcate healthy oral hygiene habits.
Concern India Foundation is a registered, non-profit, public charitable trust working towards 'Helping People Help Themselves’ by making the disadvantaged self-reliant and thereby enabling them to lead a life of dignity.
Through the year, several unique fundraising events in aid of Concern India Foundation are organized by Secure Giving across India. In February 2014, a 4 km run in Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, 'Young Mumbai Run' was organised for the youth of Mumbai. About 1500 school children of 12 to 18 years participated from across the city. This was the fourth edition that this fun run was organised by Concern India Foundation.

Ehsaas' is a forum where students of the leading B-School, SPJIMR (S P Jain Institute of Management and Research), Mumbai interact with NGOs working for the differently abled children to learn from them the power of human spirit, mind and will. Ehsaas, since its inception in 2005 has been celebrating the spirit of these extraordinary children with special needs. It has been their sincere endeavor to provide these children with a platform to express themselves and receive the recognition they deserve. It, further, aims to sensitize the students towards the societal issue of disability and to make the special children feel that they are also accepted mainstream in society.
The DOCC (Centre for Development Of Corporate Citizenship Committee) of SPJIMR organized 'Ehsaas' on January 13, 2015 where 400 children with special needs participated. Through fun, activities, games and sports the children expressed themselves and received the recognition they deserved. Colgate-Palmolive India, supported these children with product hampers thus encouraging good oral hygiene habits and bring cheer to their lives.
DEEDS Public Charitable Trust is an NGO in Mumbai that is committed to helping persons with hearing impairment. Since 2004, DEEDS has been conducting an annual Quiz Compeptition "QUEST", for the children from the special schools for the deaf in Mumbai. Quest was conceptualized to inculcate regular reading habits which has, as a result of this competitive quiz, reportedly increased other knowledge enhancing activities. Quest has largely helped in instilling a healthy competitive spirit among the students from deaf schools in Mumbai. The focus of the students is on assimilating knowledge from books to prepare well for the quiz-competition-an activity that the children look forward to participating in, every year.
Colgate-Palmolive India has been supporting DEEDS since 2005, with gift hampers for the Deaf to laud and encourage the teams participating.
