Colgate Cares - Community Service Projects to enhance quality of life.

A young girl, named Shreya is seen web searching. Her mother, Sudha Shankar, a famous painter, walks into Shreya's room. Scared by the thought of being caught for wasting time on the net, she quickly hits a link on painting, and comes across a painting competition. Knowing that her mother is to be one of the judges she informs her mother of her fancy to participate. Her mother agrees, and from then on Shreya starts painting everyday. One day as she paints outdoors, a girl by the name Guddi approaches her, and just as Shreya's easel is about to fall, Guddi catches it. The two become friends, and Guddi also assists her, and corrects her at times. Shreya then encourages Guddi to participate as well….but after finding out the eligibility criteria; they realize that Guddi would need her principal's signature. This was not possible, as Guddi never went to school. After trying lots of ways of getting Guddi into the competition, they give up.

On the day of the competition, every painting has a coded number to it, so that there could be no partiality on the account of the judges. When the winning code number is called out…Shreya goes on stage, and everyone claps for her. She then voices the fact that, that painting belonged to Guddi. She also announces the unfair criteria's that held back such a talented girl from entering the competition.

Chandu is the bright spark of his class, but carries a snobbish attitude. One day, four friends, Shruti, Anika, Arshad and Krish, are found discussing their common dislikes about Chandu. On their way to the chemistry lab, they come across a notice that reads about a school trip to a movie the next day. Once in the lab, everyone's busy with completing their task. As always, Chandu is the first one, and wishes to drive his teacher's attention toward his experiment. Grabbing an opportunity to play the mischief, Arshad mixes the wrong chemicals in Chandu's experimentation, and when the teacher approaches his desk, the experiment goes ‘boom'. The teacher asks the mischief maker to own up…. but no one goes ahead. All the four are held account, and are taken to the principal's office. Even then no one owns up. The Principal then loses patience and tells the four, that when everyone goes to the movie the next day, they will be required to stay back in their class rooms all day.

The next day, the four are alone in their school, as everyone leaves for the movie. In their boredom, they decide to read a play that Krish had written. Krish then suggests that they all speak out the dialogues and enact in their own way. Busy with their enactment, they don't realize Mr. Mathew, their principal, watching them. Just then, the school bus arrives. Soon it comes to notice that the kids were unable to go for the movie, as the bus gets punctured on its way. All the other kids are depressed. So the principal announces that they can go for the movie the following day. Since it's unfair to punish the four kids for the following day too, and since the other kids are still way too dejected, the principal decides to allow the four kids to the movie, provided they enact the play they were practicing. The four agree, and perform Krish's ‘tooth fairy' play, which also educates the children on oral health.
