As part of Oral Health Month 2004, Colgate, in an innovative event got
children from across India to pen their lyrics on the theme of 'Spread a Smile' . 36 entries were selected and compiled into a song by renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar . The music was composed by the trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy .
In a program held in Mumbai on 7th October 2004, Colgate unveiled the 'Spread a Smile' song.
