Background
Total Productive Maintenance Concept takes care of Manufacturing Performance where Actual Value Addition takes place.
Logistics adds value only by taking the Product to the right Location, in the right Quantity & at the Right time.
The Total Performance concept will capture various activities & processes, which happen till the product is handed over to the Customer.
Objectives
To create standards for Colgate-Palmolive India's Logistics Performance, provide guidelines how to meet the expectations, create a skills training program & set processes to verify compliance.
Deliverables
1. To Map the Processes / Activities with respect to current factors which influence performance
2. Document all Expectations under Goods Movement, Inventory & Cost aspects
3. Create Guidelines - "How to do"
4. Develop a Knowledge sharing / Training Module
5. Set Audit Process to verify compliance through periodic reports
The basis for above will be Continuous Improvement.
